RAW CACAO TART

Gluten free, Dairy free, Sugar free, Vegan & Paleo friendly

INGREDIENTS

Crust:

2 cups hazelnut meal
8 pitted fresh dates
4 tbsp LOVE SMOOTHIES Superfood milk chocolatte blend
1/3 cup raw cacao powder
pinch of sea salt
1/4 cup coconut oil

Filling:

2 large ripe bananas
1/2 large avocado
1/3 cup raw cacao powder
2 tbsp LOVE SMOOTHIES Superfood milk chocolatte blend
6 fresh pitted dates dates
pinch of sea salt (optional)

METHOD:

  • in a food processor mix all the crust ingredients until they have a sticky, crumb-like consistency
  • press mixture into a flan or springform tin and chill in freezer while preparing the filling
  • blend all the filling ingredients until smooth and creamy
  • spoon filling into crust and chill.
  • may be kept in the freezer for up to 6 weeks, though thaw slightly before serving
